What size is a passport photo? expand_more
The most common international size is 35×45 mm at 300 dpi, which most consulates in the region use. The US visa photo is different: 51×51 mm, square.
Why does 300 dpi matter? expand_more
Because the official requirement is written as a size and a resolution together. A photo at the right dimensions but a low resolution prints faint and is rejected at the counter, which is why the tool works the pixels out from the millimetres and the dpi instead of asking you for the number.
Will it crop my photo? expand_more
It fills the frame and trims the overflow, because an official photo may not have white bars down the sides. Crop around the face yourself first if you want finer control.
How do I print several copies on one sheet? expand_more
Turn on the A4 sheet option and choose how many. The copies are laid out with gutters wide enough to cut between, on a sheet at the same size and resolution, ready to print.
