Does it support Arabic? expand_more
Yes, with the full Arabic language pack, and it can read Arabic and English from the same picture — which is what screenshots and invoices in the region usually contain.
Why are some characters wrong? expand_more
OCR accuracy depends on the picture: small type, poor lighting and a tilt all lower it. Small images are enlarged before reading because that lifts accuracy, but a blurred photo is hard for any engine.
Which formats are supported? expand_more
JPG, PNG, WebP and the other common image formats. To pull text out of a PDF, use the dedicated searchable-PDF tool instead.
Is my image kept on the server? expand_more
No. It is processed in a temporary file that is deleted the moment the read finishes; neither the image nor the text is stored.
