Frequently asked questions

How do I count the days between two dates? expand_more
Enter both dates and you get the span in days and weeks, plus the breakdown in years, months and days. Enter them the wrong way round and the span is still measured, with a note saying so, rather than showing a negative number.
How are working days counted? expand_more
From the first date up to but not including the second, with the two weekend days you choose removed. The default is Friday–Saturday, which has been the weekend in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf since 2013; you can switch to Saturday–Sunday.
What date is 90 days from today? expand_more
Switch to the add-or-subtract mode, pick the date, the amount and the unit — days, weeks, months or years — and the resulting date appears in full, alongside its Hijri equivalent.
Why is 31 January plus one month 28 February and not 3 March? expand_more
Because months are counted as calendar months rather than a fixed number of days, and when the matching day does not exist in the next month the result stops at its last day. Rolling past it is a common bug that makes a legal deadline expire two days early.
