Frequently asked questions

What is the default calculation method? expand_more
Umm al-Qura — the official method used in Saudi Arabia and the most widely followed across the Gulf. You can switch to Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Muslim World League and others in the settings.
Why does the Asr time change with the madhab? expand_more
Shafi, Maliki and Hanbali take Asr when a shadow reaches one object-height, while Hanafi waits for two — roughly 45 to 70 minutes later depending on season and latitude. Pick your madhab in the settings to match.
Are the times accurate if I decline location access? expand_more
Yes, if you pick your city from the list — the calculation is exact for that city. It just will not reflect your actual location if you are somewhere else.
Does it work offline? expand_more
After the page has loaded once, yes — the calculation is pure astronomy running on your device, with no internet connection or server needed.
